제목인 Speak Of The Devil은 한국 속담 중  '호랑이도 제말 하면 온다'라는 느낌의 말인데, 중세시대 당시 악마 얘기를 하면 진짜 악마가 찾아온다는 말에서 유래되었다고 한다. 여기선 말 그대로 '악마를 불러 내다' 정도로 해석되는 게 자연스러운 듯,  가사 자체도 신에 대한 종교적 신앙을 저버리고 악마와 계약하는 정도의 얘기 같은데 다른 데서는 무슨 사랑 얘기로 해석해 놓은 분도 계시더라

 

암튼 Sum 41 노래 중 내가 가장 좋아하는 노래 탑 3 안에 드는 곡
